Laiqa was started with the mission to transform the experience of acquiring, using and enquiring about feminine hygiene, and to provide high quality and comfortable products for the consumers.

Reinventing feminine hygiene in India, we created the brand  to engage with women through simplicity, honesty and a ‘no-nonsense’ flair – every bit in keeping with the product.

The dictionary definition of this word is ‘elegant’ – which since time immemorial has been highlighted as a predominantly feminine trait. With this we wanted to acknowledge that yes, it is a product/service/safe space for women and also, to take the word elegant and cause it to mean whatever each individual woman chooses it to mean for herself.

The logo is inspired by the moon as it is a feminine symbol, a universal representation of the cycle and rhythm of time. The phases of the moon symbolize immortality, eternity & enlightenment.
